VMS3230 - Unable to add base station to my Arlo configuration

I currently have three Arlo Qs configured and they, after a little work, are functional. I am trying to add an Arlo base station and two wireless cameras. Not thinking I synched the cameras first and then tried adding the base unit. The Arlo app recognized it briefly and then I could no longer access it. So, I removed the base unit from the app and tried to add it again, but it could not find the base unit.  I tried using both the website and the Android app. No luck finding the base unit in all cases. In addition, the first three indicators on the base unit are green (Power, Internet, Camera). I even tried resetting the base unit (through the small reset hole in back), per recommended blog posts. This "reset" button doesn't seem to do anything. At this point I am pretty frustrated. The software seems buggy, however, I am hoping to work around the issue.

 

Any help you can provide would be appreciated.

Are you holding the reset button until the LEDs flash amber?
