arlo is threatening the privacy of the security of my family.

I just bought a arlo camera.
I was testing the behavior of the camera in the living room.
The camera was all the default settings.

My little daughter was a change of clothes in the living room.
arlo camera has photographed her naked.
arlo camera was notified by e-mail addressed to me that it have taken.

I have removed the video from my library in a hurry.
When an e-mail also attempt to delete, I noticed that there is a URL link to the video to e-mail.

The video has been published as a "Shared Media".
Authentication to browse the page did not.
I want you to help me.
I want you to tell me how to remove the video.

I'm a sorry that English is not good.

eroccowaruico,

The link contained in the alert e-mail is unique and only remains live for 24 hours. After 24 hours that link will expire and the content can no longer be accessed.

JamesC,

Thank you for reply.
It was confirmed that you can not see the video after 24 hours.

However, this behavior is a unkind hate.
As soon as I remove the video in my library, please delete the URL link of the video.

Am I correct to deduce there is no way presently of stopping 'shared' videos being posted, even though they disappear after 24 hours?   It does seem to be a big security issue for this system?

lc1100_101,

Shared video links are only created if manually shared by clicking on share in the library and through e-mail alerts. If e-mail alerts are disabled, no link is created.

Thank you....I note that email alerts will create a 'share' - from other posts it seems that they only remain live for 24 hours or 7 days when the cache is cleared from the server when Basic cloud is chosen?  Is that correct?

lc1100_101,

Correct. The shared link will only remain live for 24 hours and library content will remain on the cloud for 7 days on the Basic plan (30 for Premier, 60 for Elite).
