How to turn off the chime when the recording is activated?

The sound came from the base station every time there is a recording, motion activated.  How to turn that off?

??  no sound from the base station...

If you mean the alert chime that a particular app gives out then the adjustment is in the app itself... Under settings/ arlo app/ there's usu a check box for sending alerts which may be turn off. ( android/ios)
