Warranty RMAs don't require a subscription (and I am not seeing anything in your link that says they do).  There is an access issue right now (since it is near-impossible to ask for an RMA w/o a subscription).  I think Arlo knows they have to fix that.

Can’t get camera to recognize QR code. Have no idea how to select anything but 5-g. My service provider for internet is just as useless as Arlo support. This I have a useless doorbell camera

Are you failing at the QR code or do you get beyond that screen to the searching for camera screen and then fail?
