What are modes and rules and how does Arlo use them?

You can adjust the length of the video recording from a minimum of ten seconds to a maximum of two minutes.

When I initially did the set up it asked how long of a record length which I set for 10 secs I would like to change to 30 secs but can't find that option settings anywhere now
