I have two Arlo Qs in the house covering windows etc and have setup activation zones.
I've added to my Arlo collection with two Arlos and the base station. (I'm still not sure why the base station is needed, but that's another question for another time).
The local neighbourhood has had many thefts recently and I wanted to cover my driveway, cars and porch.
However, I don't want the camera's constantly recording movements that are outside of my interest.
So, how do I setup similar zones for the outdoor versions?
Thanks for your help
Ollie.

You can't. The best you can do is to position the cameras so they only monitor the areas of actual concern, not a wide view. If you still get spurious detection from a specific area, a small piece of black electrical tape on the PIR sensor for that area will block detection. Just make sure to not block too much. Trial and error for positioning and tape will be needed.

I'm flabbergasted. This isn't a cheap cctv option, why can't it do the simple tasks the same as the ArloQ?
The batteries aren't going to last a week given the traffic I have outside my house, it's a public park!
Surely this is only a software item? Do you know?
Thanks for your input.
