How do I get a notification if someone walks in the area where the camera is set?

Hi,

We have the camera installed inside the window pointing outside but the camera only gives a notification if we open the shutters blinds from closed to open but not when someone walks outside in our yard while we have the camera pointed to the yard. We can see the person on live video but want to get notification when someone is walking there

You will NOT get an alert the way you have it set up...the Arlo/Arlo PRO both DO NOT work thru glass....the glass blocks the IR needed for detedtion of motion.

Move them out side where they belong ( they are weather proof ) Or get and Arlo Q camera which will work thru glass windows
