How do I determine the model of my camera via the device info on the mobile app?
For instance mine shows H-8, it doesn’t resolve to a product name used by sales

I have the same issue... I bought my Arlo system too long ago and I don't recall what I got, other than I know they are mixed models. I think I have Pro and Pro 2. When I look in Settings, Device info, I see: "Hardware H3" and I think that means Pro 2... how can I be certain? I am sure someone at Arlo support has a cross-reference guide!

Agreed that this is an issue. The "easiest" way is to look at the camera face as well as determine what batteries they use. The original wireless cameras use 4 CR123 batteries and are smaller/more rounded than the later cameras. The Pro camera has an all black face while the Pro 2 has a white ring around the face.
Original - VMC3030
Pro - VMC4030
Pro 2 - VMC4030P
