Is there any way to power the wireless camera with a power adapter (wall wart) instead of a battery? We have a perfect place to mount the camera on the front of her home but it would be nearly impossible to access it to replace the batteries on a regular basis. I could quite easily run a small LV wire to it however to provide permanent power.

We want to use the the wireless camera because of its IR capability and the fact that his weatherproof. Is the indoor camera is not an option because you can't use IR through glass and we don't have a good location to put one to see what we want to see.

Thanks

Do a search here - there's been work on modifying the camera to run off a power supply.  As for the indoor Q camera, the detection system is not IR-based so works well through a window (I use it that way).  You do still need to disable night vision so the IR illumination doesn't reflect off the glass and blind the camera.
