Have used this system since it was new, in about 2014.   Recently moved to a different location, and when I attached one (1) of the cameras to the outside of a second-story window, it doesn't trigger by itself, while aimed at an area near our driveway, about 20-25 feet away.  On rare occasions, it will trigger only by large objects, such as automobiles, but not pedestrians.  Any suggestions?  Thank You!

The original cameras also likely have a bit lower distance threshold for motion detection, more like 20 feet max for people. You might want to place it where motion would be closer to the camera, at least for testing.

Also, there's no difference in the field of detection in these cameras - it's full frame.

You could try swapping the camera,  and see if the problem shifts with the location or stays with the camera.

The motion detection test might also be helpful.  https://kb.arlo.com/41/How-do-I-change-the-motion-sensitivity-on-my-Arlo-camera

The camera (as you likely know) is most sensitive to motion across the field of view, and is more sensitive at the bottom of the field of view than the top.  It's possible that the camera placement is the problem, even though the distance doesn't seem that far.
