I am running 5 x of the original first generation arlo cameras from a VMB3000 base station. I have recently bought a motorhome which I wish to monitor. The camera is fixed to the house but at the back of the vehicle - which is quite long. I wish specifically to monitor movement at the door of the vehicle. However the camera is not picking up movement until much nearer the camera itself and this is leaving a blind spot at the door which I really wish to monitor. I am ashamed to say I don't really understand the motion sensitivity setting and wonder if anyone could advise whether this should be set to maximum or minimum in this instance? I suspect neither will work as I have tried messing around with it but really, as I don't know what I'm doing, I would value anyone's input who could help. Additionally I am thinking of upgrading this camera to an Ultra 2 and wonder if you feel this might be the total answer to y issues. Is it more sensitive to detecting motion further from the camera?

Maximum (100%) is most sensitive. Motion is detected with PIR sensors (passive infrared) - which have a range of 20-25 feet. They will sometimes pick things up further away, but generally not reliably. The range is essentially the same in all the cameras - an upgrade won't improve it.
The cameras are most sensitive to motion moving across the field of view, and are more sensitive at the bottom of the field of view than they are at the top.
Likely you will need to dedicate a camera to monitoring the door (perhaps placing it a bit off to the side on the roof, and aiming it downward). Note the camera doesn't have to be attached to the motorhome, there might be something else nearby that might serve better.
