Just got things yesterday. Worked fine until today when it stopped detecting motion after repostioning.

Followed instructions found here to return system to it's original condition. Only the powerbutton flashes amber, the rest stay the same during the reset & sync button hold on the base station.  After resyncing & restarting cam it still has name & rules that i had done before.

Anyone experience this & have a fix?

Thanks----Zach

ZACHT,

Try navigating to Settings, then Base Station Settings, and clicking the Deactivate button. All LEDs on the base station should flash amber. Once the base station is back online (Solid green power and internet LED) you then need to add it back to the account. This can be done by navigating to Settings, then Subscription and then clicking Add a Base Station. This will restore the default rules/modes for your base station. Let me know if you still don't see the correct LED behavior when trying this method. Hope this helps!

How are you supposed to navigate to settings if the base station will not discover itself on the network?

Suthy25,

If you are having difficulty discovering your base station for New System Setup, first make sure the device you are using is on the same network as the base station.

If you are still having trouble, consider a manual factory reset by pressing and holding the reset button on the back of the base station until all LEDs flash amber. Allow the base station to come back online with a solid green internet LED and attempt to go through the New System Setup process again.

Factory reset on base station does not work- it had worked previously and generated random string after ngr_vmb.  Not anymore and reset does not work, cannot be discovered on network when on same channel.

nefur,

What method are you using to factory reset? To initiate a factory reset, press and hold the reset button until all LEDs flash amber. Allow the base station to come back online with a solid green power and internet LED and then attempt New System Setup again.
