Doorbell power supply

Our house doesn’t have a doorbell already so looking for either a plugin or solar alternative, does anyone have any that they have used and trust as all the Amazon ones I find have humming/heating issues.

Are you just looking at the reviews?  Or have you purchased some, and then had to return them?

That won't work.

Though painful, you can take down the doorbell and charge it with a USB charger.

@taulaba7 has no doorbell wiring, and is looking for a plug-in transformer.
