Arlo Pro Battery Drain

So i login to my arlo remotely from a laptop and get the message that the base station is offline and so the cameras can not be displayed.  Then I login with an iphone and get the same message but i am logged out on the laptop, and get the message, because i logged in with another device.  This is expected but what i don't understand is if the base station is offline then how do i get logged off from the first device?  At this point the middle led is out completely.  Resetting the modem seems to be the only solution to fix the issue.  Any help/suggestions?

The base has no part of being logged out. You're connecting to the Arlo servers and they're the ones logging you out on the firstdevice.

The Internet LED being out means no connection at all to your router. If rebooting the router and base doesn't help, swap cables and router ports to try to isolate the issue.

It sounds like your internet may have dropped for a period of time.
