Connection Errors and Motion Sensor

I have a basic 4 camera Arlo system with base station, has worked fine for 2-3 years. Last two days by smart phone app and PC log-in, cameras "Failed to Connect", but I was getting email/phone notifications of motion sensor activations when the system was not armed. Powered off the base station and re-set, appeared to fix the problem. Armed the system this morning, got one motion sensor hit, video in the Library. Got several other email/phone notifications of motion sensor hits, but no corresponding videos in the Library. Got no motion sensor activations when I knew all 4 cameras should have gotten them over about a 10 minute period when a family member came home. Not sure how to troubleshoot this!

When things like this happen, always check https://status.arlo.com/ to see if there's a server problem. Right now there is but I don't know whether this would have affected you.
