Mode is missing from my android mobile app. I have deleted and reinstalled a few times. No dice. I can only access modes through my PC...

Especially on older, slower phones, the node tab can take a while to show up and be properly populated. How long have you given it before giving up?

It's a Samsung S9. I give it all the time needed to fully load. I can no longer set any modes on my phone via the app. Just on my PC.

One last thing - have you rebooted the phone?

Yes. I've rebooted the phone a few times. No joy.
