2 of my arlo cameras are older and have magnetic charging ( not usb c). Neither used to hold charges as long as promised. I have not charged them in a month or so. I am preparing to go on a trip. The app says both are fully charged. Trying to charge them, no current is going in.

Has a firmware or app update gotten them to wrongly show as full and then reject recharging

I do not see how both are possibly fully charged?

My wife will chew my head off if the go dark while we are away

Have you tried rebooting the cameras by removing the battery for a few seconds and then reinserting it?

You might also want to check the charging connector on the cable and camera for dirt or corrosion.  Try cleaning it if you see that.

I suggest getting an external charging station, as that gives you a way to charge the battery independently from the camera.

There are some third-party stations out there also, which are less expensive.  But I've never used one, so I don't know how well they work.
