I've just changed my user name and password for my Arlo account. I tried to log in but was told my user name or password were invalid. I clicked on the link to reset my password. I did not receive an email to change my password. I have tried this multiple times over several days on both my mobile device as well as my desktop computer. I continue to get the same invalid user name or password and no email when I ask to change my password. I see others have had the same issue but I did not see the fix.

Is the new username linked to a working email account?

The username is a new email address . Same email address I'm using for ARLO Community but with a different password.

Did you try using the password you use in the community?

No. I had the problem before I joined the community so I wouldn't think that the Arlo community password or user name would have anything to do with logging into my ARLO account. How would it?

So I just logged into my ARLO account using my ARLO community password and it worked. I immediately changed my ARLO password to my original password that I had just changed it to before joining the community. Now neither my community password or my  current for a second time ARLO password work to log into my ARLO account. What the heck is going on?

I just logged into the mobile app with my "new" password (not my community) password and it worked. So why does the mobile app act differently than the desktop app (Windows)?

If I read your post right, your forum and camera accounts use the same email address.  I wasn't sure if Arlo had any form of single sign on (SSO) set up.  FWIW, Netgear does.  If they did have SSO, then the both accounts would use the same password.

Based on your responses I see it is not possible to have different passwords between the community and other ARLO sites. No need to follow up unless you believe I can have different email addresses.

You can certainly have multiple accounts if you use different email addresses.
