Try a different ethernet cable in a different port and restart your router a few minutes before restarting your base station

I will try a new ethernet cable. Will be Friday before can do this. Do you know what type of ethernet cable is needed to replace the one that comes with the unit. Is it Cat 5? Thanks.

CAT5 should be fine since the connection is 100Mb/s.

Well, tried new CAT 5 ethernet cable and still no internet connection to basestation. Guessing the Basestation must just be fried. Not sure what else to try?

Did you also try a different port on the router? Also, try restarting the router.
An amber Internet LED means it's connected to the router and has an IP address which you can confirm by logging into the router and checking for connected devices. If the router is blocking access to ports 80, 123 and 443bto arlo.netgear.com, you'll need to change the security settings in the router. It's also possible that the ISP is causing the issue. Finally, a bad ase can certainly be the issue.
