Hello,

I am trying to set up my new Arlo-System. Power-LED is green, Internet-LED is green, but when I press Sync on the side, the Camara-LED will not blink (even if I hold the button>10sec. BUT the LED on the right (with the USB-Symbol) starts to blink orange.

When I press and hold the reset button and hold the sync button '(>10sec) , the system does not seem to respond. The power and Internet-LED are still green and the USB-LED on the right still blinks orange.

When I try to access the system on the web, it says that my device is active. But if I try to go to settings on the web, I have just the Arlo-Symbol on my screen saying please wait.

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Thanks!!

Simple first try another browser , if NG go below.

First... when using the SYNC button, it's a QUICK PUSH only, not a hold.... as you found out, holding puts it into the usb mode ( for future use at this time ).

Second, if you not getting any response , I would 1) unpower the base and wait a min or two, repower up and then hold in the reset button( paperclip needed ) for about 10 sec and see if the front leds all flash.

I f above doesn't work ( possible the base has the older sw if it was on a shelf in store ) , unpower again , restart and use the older reset which is RESET and SYNC both held for 10+ seconds.

If all above fails, contact support for a trouble ticket. There is a possibility of a defective base.
