I have a location with six camera devices setup in the Arlo Secure application.
About every five minutes, I receive a Siren notifcation in the app [ ((/)) Deactivate Siren ]
Here's what I have tried:
Remove all of the devices in all Routines--Arm Away, Arm Home, Standby
Reinstall all devices in all Routines
Delete App from my phone and reinstall app
De-select siren on all devices
I can't be the only one that has this issue. How do I resolve this please? These false alerts are very troublesome because I need to monitor my home and property.

Hi @bizdevwiz
Thank you for the feedback. Is your camera or base station sounding the siren when you get this notification?
May I ask which troubleshooting steps you have tried so far? I don't want to suggest anything you have previously performed.

I have performed the following:
deleted the app and reinstalled
deleted all of the cameras in the Arm Away, Arm Home and Standby. Then, reinstalled all of the cameras
I’ve verified that none of the cameras have Activate Siren selected
what else should I try?
This is very annoying for my property manager and me.

Received. Thank you. Do you have a timestamp roughly of when it occurred?

When you unselect the Activate Siren toggle, are you pressing back so it saves? Can you provide a screenshot of the standby settings showing that camera with the following triggers under it? It should look like this, and then press back.

This occurs many times a day, when I select 'de activate siren' the app will produce another alert within the next few minutes.

The Arlo development team is currently investigating reports of this behavior. We will provide an update as soon as we have more information to share with the community.

Hi @bizdevwiz
If possible, would you mind factory resetting your device named "Perry Lane" and re-adding it to the rules, and then see if the notification for the siren still appears? This might help by resetting the information received on the backend when re-installing the device. You can find more info here: https://kb.arlo.com/000062659/How-to-factory-reset-Arlo-devices

NO! THAT IS AN UNACCEPTABLE SOLUTION.
this would require me to get on a ladder and reset six devices and rebuild the entire residence.
I would rather take all the cameras down, sell them, buy Ring or Google and subscribe to another service.

HI @bizdevwiz
Thanks for your patience. It looks like this should be resolved via a firmware update. I don't have an exact ETA at this time, but I'll make sure to update you as soon as possible when I hear more.

Hi @bizdevwiz
I wanted to give you a quick update. The team is actively working on this, and they're preparing a test firmware build that you'd be welcome to try, if you'd like, ahead of the final release becoming available. I'll keep you posted as soon as there's more to share.
Thanks again for your patience!

Thank you.
Can I install this remotely? Do I need to be at the property where the cameras are to update the firmware?

No, This should auto-update overnight, and you may be able to update it directly from the settings in the app while checking for a firmware update, but it should push automatically to your device.

Hey Shane, just seems this issue has been going on for about 3 months, for other users & no resolution has been found.
How much longer will customers have wait?
my community yard sale is 10/10, my cameras & non working base station will be in that sale, if no resolution is discovered.
