Can't reuse an already existing Netgear (non-Arlo) e-mail address account?

Hello.

I signed up Netgear Arlo with a new e-mail account and added a couple e-mail addresses (granted Friends with full administrator rights) to access) without any problems a few days ago. They never were used for general Netgear and its Arlo web sites.

Earlier, I tried to use my e-mail address that was used on Netgear's forums but it seems to reject from its invitation e-mail's link/URL. Signing up an account with that e-mail address says "session expired" error and signing in says not found (probably because I couldn't finish signing up).

Does Netgear Arlo's web site not let reuse our generic Netgear account? 😞

Thank you in advance. 🙂

How many forums and web sites does Netgear have? It is confusing:

https://community.netgear.com/ is for Arlo only?

https://my.netgear.com/
http://forum1.netgear.com/

They don't seem to be consistent to each other.

Doesn't seem confusing to me...

community.netgear.com (this site) is Arlo support only

my.netgear.com and forum1.netgear.com are the same site and support a wide variety of other netgear products.

Why isn't Arlo forum not using the same account data as the other two/2 since this is the same netgear.com domain?

Wow, even more! Is there an ETA on when everything will be merged into a single account?
