I'm running 6 Arlo Essential Spotlight cameras connected directly to my 2G Guest Network. I'm trying to add a VMB 3030 base station to set up some older cameras that I have. The VMB 3030 is connected directly to my router. I have 3 networks. 5g 2G and 2G guest all on 1 router. I have tried to connect by setting my phone to all 3 networks, but the Arlo app can't find it. I have done factory resets too. Any ideas?

Oh yeah, I did all the usual troubleshooting, reset etc. Lights were both green. I took a wireless PC that I had and connected it to the guest network, (the one all my other cameras are connected to) then made the ethernet port shareable. So now it's a router that only puts out the 2g guest network. I hooked up the base station and it connected instantly. Problem solved!

The WiFi has no bearing on connecting a base station because that uses an Ethernet cable for the Internet connection. WHen you connect that cable and power on the base, what do the LEDs show? SHould be green for power and Internet and maybe off or solid amber for the Camera LED. Have you reset the base by holding the button until the LEDs flash amber?
