No...and YES depends on base unit
The Arlo base does not support any local recording
The Arlo PRO (base ) supports only local record thru it's usb port to a usb drive max size is 1TB I believe ( fat 32 format )

Those ports have never been enabled. If you want to record locally on wireless cameras you must use the Pro base.
