Also regarding alarm I am in setting now and all that show up are

for the mode recording 75 seconds -- I get alerts - nothing about alarms???  someone said did I read manual - I don't see anything else to help me capture folks at the front door, etc?

Only a few things to set globally in Settings. Most others are I the modes and rules. Use the Mode tab, click on you base and check out but don't change the Armed mode. Now, create your own modes and rules as appropriate. If you want more than one camera per mode, created the mode and a rule first, save and then add more cameras, one at a time, until its set. Always check top and bottom of each screen for the save button.
