Camera is activated by motion, but doesn't record, or take any video at all

Camera is activated by motion, but doesn't record, or take any video at all.  I have tried everything, deleting camera, restarting, resyncing, but it only detects motion, doesn't record, and won't do anything live either.  seems like camera part is broke.
