Hello!

I experience a strange phenomenon. When I enter the “Video settings”, a snapshot from the camera is shown. Nothing weird. However, the quality of that picture is much, much better than snapshots/videos that are taken in the regular use. I’ve changed settings to get the best picture quality, but still there is a dramatical difference. Same phenomenon for all cameras.

Anyone have a clue about why this is, and especially how I get this great picture quality in the normal use?

Thanks!

One single frame vs 30 frames in one second. Video is often compressed to make data transmission more efficient. Also, have you changed your video quality to Best Video from Optimized?

Thanks! Video I understand, but it’s the same problem with snapshot.
Yes, tried Optimal.

It seems as the biggest difference is when there is less light.

Not Optimal, Optimized 🙂

Yeah, it's because of the compression. Best Video should give you better quality at the cost of slightly less time between charging the battery
