Batteries that show 95% one day, then 5% the next. System not armed. Absolutely no change in wireless connection. I'm pulling my 8 camera system down, as it's costing me a fortune in batteries! Also there's a huge delay between movement detection and recording starting.

Rechargeable batteries are the way to go.

Assuming your batteries were good and its nota  hardware issue, something interfering the cam talking to the base station can deplete your batteries very fast.

Thanks manfredz.

I have just purchased rechargeable batteries. That's fine, if I am home to change them. The main reason for setting up Arlo with 8 cameras is for when we go on holidays!

It appears that I am not the only Arlo user with this issue. I have googled the issue and it has been going on since at least August 2015. I would have thought that Arlo would have investigated and identified the likely cause(s).

if the majority of users is like I am, who has no battery issues, that makes it so much harder to figure out why some are.

My gut feeling is problems that occur to some after an update is that the update didnt download completely or became corrupted, possibly because these cams are far from the base station/router.
