Batteries don't last a week or even 10 days. Tried recharging batteries but won't work either

My batteries don’t last a week or max 10 days. I’ve tried recharable batteries and now use tenergy (non-recharable). Neither work long at all. Any suggestions?

The usual problems are:

 

1) Too much recording and/or live viewing. Spec battery life comes from <5 minutes per day on average total usage of these.

 

2) Blockage/interference of the WiFi signal between the base and cameras. House construction or interior placement of mirrors, ductwork, etc. can cause this as well as 2.4GHz wireless devices near cameras and/or base.

Another, less frequent issue, comes from turning the base off since the cameras try to remain connected to a non-existent base.
