Batteries dead the day after I set it up

Yesterday I set the Arlo up after getting it. Everything worked great all night.

Now I’m at work and the Camera says its offline and the battery indicator is down to one bar, it was full only 12 hours ago.

I was expecting the batteries to last weeks if not months,12 hours seems a tad bit excessive.

There are a couple different conditions that can cause battery drain. How many videos were recorded on this camera during that 12 hour time frame? Batteries can last up to 4-6 months under normal usage (4 minutes per day on the optimized setting).

What is the signal strength and are there any nearby wireless devices that could be causing interference? Poor signal strength can cause the camera to struggle to maintain a connection with the base station, resulting in the camera dropping offline and draining battery faster than normal.

Its fine now, lt appears that the camera updated its fireware overnight and that cuased the problem.

After calling tech support they had me take the batteries out and put them back in. After the reboot everything apears to be working fine now.
