Bought five cameras exactly 6 days ago. Batteries already almost dead on two cameras. What a joke! Has this happened to others?

How much footage did you record with your cameras?

Official use-case scenario is four minutes of video recording (or Live View, or combination thereof) per camera per day. Then one battery set is supposed to last four to six months in a camera.

Multiple users have confirmed that or come close to it - a lot closer than you. Some get even more with certain rechargeables, because their discharge use is better suited to rechargeables.
