Basestation Firmware Will Not Update

I just set up my new Arlo wireless cameras and basestation. The firmware for the cameras seems to be current. The basestation, however, does not appear to have the current firmware version loaded and is not updating automatically as I have read it should. The app is showing the FW version as 1.42695 and I believe that the most current version is 1.7.1_4638. I have power cycled the basestation a few times with no change in the FW version. Is there another way to update the basestation firmware?

The power cycle is all you can do but be aware that the update may not happen until overnight.  About all you could try would be a factory reset but you'd have to resync cameras and rebuild your modes/rules and schedule.
