I am having a difficult time connecting my base station to the internet. I have contacted my router company to lower my fire wall settings, and make sure the three separate ports are open. All of this was completed. I changed my ethernet cord, did a factory reset on the base station numerous times and have plugged / unplugged the base station and router numerous times. At first, I was unable to get the internet globe to show any light, now it shows the amber light. My internet is working fine, I have even changed out base stations to make sure it wasn't a base station problem. What else can I do?

There's something in the router or the ISP that is blocking access to the servers. If the ISP owns the router they need to configure it to allow ports 80 and 443 to arlo.netgear.com. It can be a variety of reasons for what's blocking access so some troubleshooting is needed.

@Bo45

If your router has a firewall, that means that all the ports that you need to get the Arlo system working will be blocked by the firewall. If that is the case, you will need to do Port Forwarding for ports 80, 123 and 443.
