Base Station Not Showing up During Setup

I have a NetGear Nighthawk Model R6260 that I have wired to the VMB3000 base station. From the beginning using either the app or the computer the base station is not visible. The Arlo system was a gift, new, right out of the box. Suggestions Please.

Not sure what you mean - during setup? Waht are the LEDs on the base showing?
