Availability of Ethernet Ports

I need to know what to do if there are not enough ports on the router to plug the base in. I have 4 spots and all are taken.

Buy an inexpensive 4 port switch. Plug one port of the switch in place of an existing devices and then plug that device into the switch. You can then plug the base into the switch, too.
