I use to use one of my cameras indoors as a baby monitor. If I was in the shed away from the house while the baby was sleeping. I would simply set this up as a mode in the app. Now with the new updated app I can’t seem how to do this? Has anyone figured this out?

I don’t pay for subscription but could do this previously.

Any help would be great. Thanks

I am not sure what you mean by "set this up as a mode".

What you can do is manually turn the camera on and off by going into to the device page, selecting the camera, and then going into the camera settings.

Also the three built-in modes (Armed Away, Armed Home, Standby) can all be customized.  The names are arbitrary, so you can repurpose them.  So you could alternatively (for example) set up Armed Home to arm all cameras (including the baby camera), and set up Armed Away to disarm the baby camera (keeping other cameras armed).

The new app is highly inefficient with the normal use cases of the past. As the previous poster mentioned, the mode names are arbitrary and you can set them up to meet your needs. In my opinion, Arlo should allow us to create custom modes as the default 3 are not enough.

With that said, when I need to arm a single camera or two under their new system, I add the camera(s) to my Standby mode while I need them. Then, I remove them when I no longer need it. It's a tedious process.
