My Arlo System will notify me when there's a motion detected though the push notifications but will not record or send me and email. I have tried to reset my system by turning it off for 60 seconds and putting it back on but it still will not record. I have also tried using the reset button on the base station and removing the device from my account . I tried both of these opinions but still not recording??? Also for some reason the firmware will not update to the newest version..... Anyone have any suggestions on solving this issue? I have try to send a message to Arlo Support but keeping getting in Error from their website when trying to do so.

I was finally able to resolve this problem. Turns out my internet speed was to slow to get the updated firmware from ARLO (Netgear). What I did to resolve the problem was I took my base station to a friends house that had broadband internet access and left it there overnight. When I checked the firmware status the next day it was updated. I reconnected the system to my home internet and the the system worked perfect !!! Hope this was helpful

cyndamon,
This could be due to outdated camera/base station firmware. Check your firmware versions by clicking Settings > My Devices > select base/camera > Device Info.
You can find the latest firmware releases here: Release Notes
