I understood that the videos that arlo records may disappear from the cloud when the base station is disconnected from the cloud or reset for more than 30 seconds. It would be much safer if these images were always saved for 7 days or for a more expensive account for 30 days. Can this be adjusted?

The files recorded from the base unit do NOT dissappear when it is unplugged... the files are stored on the Arlo servers and are accessible up to the time limit on your service level... be it 7, 30, or 60 days
*exception is if the base is using the usb backup and internet disappears, those files are not in the cloud but would be on the usb and are not backfilled when internet comes back.
