When I go to look on the camera it tells me to "update your cameras firmware now" I tap the update button and it says that the update is in progress and don't turn off your camera. If only lasts about 4 seconds and then it tells me to start it again.

Try and reinstall the app on your phone.

Use the web interface to see if there are in fact any updates

You camera may be too far away from the base station or your internet connection might be too slow

Thanks for that. I thought that might be the problem so I placed my phone next to the base and still nothing. Am beginning to think it may be a fault in my phone as my wife's one is working fine. Thanks.

BTW, placing your PHONE near the base isn't needed. The initial suggestion was to place the CAMERA near the base.
