When away from home I will login every couple of days to make sure my cameras are still working properly and sometimes while on the screen that shows the camera status, one of the status symbols (little running man) will turn orange and I'll receive a motion alert. After the staus goes back to normal, I may or may not have a video available to review and when I do there isn't anything showing that would have triggered a motion alert. This doesn't happen all the time, but maybe every 3rd or 4th time when I login to check the status. Also, it isn't the same camera, it has happened to each my my Arlos. It seems that the login in process some how forces the Arlo system to activate one of the cameras. Is this possible and has anyone else had this issue? I do have my cameras configured correctly, they have been in place for over a year and until recently, have been working without any problems.  And yes, I have rebooted my system.

I have seen this occur before... unknown reason on my end too... the mere logging in or just arming, use to fire off one camera as if there was motion.

I have no answer, it just stopped after a few months, tho you may want to send off a trouble report to Netgear as if it is a bug, they have to be aware to fix same.

Same here. Logging in occasionally triggers a recording. Not sure why. Not overly worried about it
