I am having issues logging into the Arlo iOS App. No matter what I do the app has a notification that states "Your request timed out" whenever I try logging in. The error message comes up no matter what I do, even if I try to enter an email address to reset the password. I have verified I can log into the web portal
What I've attempted to do troubleshooting already:
- Deleted and reinstalled the app
- Changed password
- Hard reset my phone
- Verified I can log in to the web portal
- Read community posts with no help

Hey ntay89,
Make sure you don't have any VPN turned on from your iOS device. Is this happening when you're on WiFi and/or cellular data?

For 2 weeks now I have been unable to login via my mobile app. I have tried restarting, reinstalling, password reset, etc. Nothing has worked. I am able to login fine from browser/laptop. Any suggestions?

What if you need the VPN? I cannot disable mine.

Hi dpaterl,
Are you experiencing the issue on both WiFi and/or cellular data with VPN on? If so, you may need to check with your VPN if you are unable to disable it off from your phone device.

Yes, issue on both wifi and otherwise.
I do have a VPN for work that I cannot remove. Is this a new problem?

Is it on all the time? Normally you only turn the VPN on when you want to access your work network.
