Hi, we recently had one of our cameras stolen during the early hours of the morning. The recorded footage shows a hand removing the camera from the standard attachment. I have no issues with motion detection with any of during the day but I hardly get any recorded footage overnight. Unfortunately in my case the evidence of the incident doesn't give away much. How can this be improved?

It's truly unfortunate this happened.  The best suggestions posted here in various threads is to use a screw-on mount, using one of the myriad camera mounts that use a 1/4"-20 thread (almost all do).  Amazon has lots to choose from. Just make sure the lock-down collar is as tight as possible.

In conjunction with this as well as for use with any mount, including the magnetic ones, an anti-theft cable using the same threaded mount hole as well as being firmly attached to the house would provide a second level of protection.

Anything can be stolen/damaged if the person wants it badly enough.  These won't guarantee anything but would likely give him pause since it simply wouldn't be possible to grab and run.  Perhaps it would swing around and get at least one look at his face/clothing.

Another, more expensive, approach is to make sure that the possible approaches are covered so he can't sneak up on one camera without setting off another.  That means using more cameras with overlapping views and possibly creating modes with nested rules so when one camera detects motion it not only sets itself off but also triggers another.  These can be as simple or complex as you need - be creative.
