Arlo camera doesn't switch on

So my Arlo camera stopped working last night... there was a power failure while I was updating the firmware of one of the cameras. Tried changing the batteries too. Still nothing

Happened to friend of mine who has a lousy ISP. His wifi dropped out while updating the camera's firmware and it apparenlty bricked it. 

 

If you are still in warranty, you have to fight with Netgear to replace it I suppose. Netgear gave my buddy the run around so he took the whole setup back to Costco.
