Arlo camera does not record unless motion is 2-3 feet for distance

The camera does not start recording unless/until the motion is 2-3 feet from the camera. Can this be adjusted in settings?

Yes, it's call motion detection sensitivity and it's set in your rules for the camera. Read the FAQs here for details.

Also read the FAQs on camera positioning since that can affect how motion is detected. Motion should be across the FOV, not at the camera.

Was Read FAQs Here supposed to be a link?  It wasn’t. 

The menu under Settings for my system is different that what shows in the manual. There is no Rules option.

Go to device - device utilities - motion detector test - motion sensor sensitivity is at the bottom
