I just set up the cameras last night, and the one for my front door disconnected. This morning I was checking them out and it said not connected. So I tried connecting it again and it didn't work. So I opened the battery cover and moved the batteries around and then it did connect. However, it quickly disconnected again. It was 8 degrees (Celsius) last night, and the other camera that was outside was fine. I am thinking either (1) the batteries it came with for that camera are defective or (2) the unit is defective. Because of the manufactures warranty, how would I use it for the one camera?

I'd wager the camera is having issues maintaining connection with the base (BTW, this is the Q camea section which doesn't have batteries or a base station). This struggle can be due to interference from other 2.4GHz wireless devices or the distance, including any attenuation from walls, ceilings, metal flashing, ductwork, etc.), between the camera and base. A quick test would be to swap cameras around temporarily to see if the problem is due to the camera or the position.
P.S. - if it's due to a poor signal, the batteries will wear out quickly.
Edit: You beat me to the swap. You'll probably need to reposition the problem location somewhat to fix the issue.

Got the same problem. Bought an Arlo 4 HD Camera Pack from BestBuy canada yesterday (26-april-2016) Hardware=VMB3010r2, Software=1.7.3_5005. DSL router is Dlink DSL-2640B (4.01EU). Settings is on optimised. Push/Email notifiication with 80% motion detection sensitivity. One camera nearest to the house (front door) got disconnected overnight with same temperature as original poster around 10 degrees (Celsius). The other 3 ones which are also outside but further away from the house is still connected all batteries are still full. Tried to reboot the base station remotely this morning but that camera is still disconnected. At night this camera has front door light that illuminates the view. The other 3 ones are almost pitch black. My question is why after less than a day?

JN_2016,
The location of this camera could be the issue. It may be struggling to maintain connection with the base station due to interference or range. To further isolate, you could try swapping the location of the affected camera with one of your cameras that is behaving normally to identify if the location is the cause of the issue.

Also I have mine all outside in TN. Only had to take them inside one night this winter. I think they say 12-15 degrees is the limit for the cameras.
FWIW, I've had mine in slightly sub-zero temps with no problems.

Adewale,
It could be that the batteries for these cameras are depleted. You might try a fresh set of batteries in the affected cameras and see if they come back online.

I am very sure the batteries are not depleted.
I pulled the plug on the base station and plugged it back and the last time i checked (a few mins before this post), the base station restart seems to have cleared up the issue
