Arlo base station just quit working.  No blinking lights. Have cycled on off several times.  I have tried different outlets. I have tried resetting the unit.  I have purchased additional correct power adapter......still nothing.

Called NetGear to explain to them what happened.  Their response was "unit is 20 days out of warranty and their is nothing we can do"  They offered me no replacement options, did not tell me where i could send in to have repaired.  I wasnt looking for any handout if indeed was out of warranty, but they offered me no solutions to my problem at all.  I now have 3 working cameras that cant be used because of inoperable base station.  This is terrible Customer Service and I will never purchase another NetGear product again.

In the hope that it's the power supply, you can 1) buy a universal power supply that has the same voltage and current capabilities as the original or 2) buy another base station with power supply.

This is sort of how Netgear does things. There's no reason for the hardware to fail in such a short time, but it generally fails (at least in my home) only a month or two out of warranty.

I have a camera die a few months back, and it was the same situation. When I was given no options to resolve the issue, I raised hell until they replaced the unit for me. These types of issues are the reason I didn't upgrade to the Arlo Pro in this last buying season.

By the same token, I have vaarious hardware, including beta hardware which hasn't failed. Failures happen and it's not aimed at you although you may well be the unluckiest guy in the world.

Fair enough...but I've had enough routers, cameras, and nases die to keep me wary.
