Basestation Security Suggestions

Does anyone have any advice on the best way to secure or hide the basestation from potential burglars?

As long as you can get an Ethernet cable to your network (long one or use a WiFi or powerline extender), the base can be separated from your router. Howeven that may not be useful if the router and modem are findable, too, since those could be taken.

This seems rather extreme - why are you worried about this?

since the triggered events are really not stored on the base station... it is less important.

Steal the base and the videos are still available from the cloud servers
