Have you looked into wifi range extenders? I purchased one from Netgear with a ethernet plug to connect a second Arlo base station to for under $60.

The Arlo base has to connect physically to your router throught the provided ethernet cable, so the answer is no if it does not have an ethernet port.

Is there a recommended router that could connect wirelessly to my MiFi that then could be connected physically with the cable to the port on the base station?

Brian, thank you for the reply. Was the N600 Netgear the one you used?

Frankly, virtually any extender with an Ethernet port can be used.
