My Arlo system lately has been either sending notifications of "motion detected" and not recording or not sending notifications of "motion detected" and not recording. There have also been times where I cannot live stream from my cameras or connect to the system, but all three lights are green.

Have you tried to reboot the base station & test again? Are you updated to the latest firmware?

I have rebooted and repaired everything and it’s all up to date.

I've started to experience a very similar problem with one of my cameras.

The camera concerned briefly senses movement, switches to infra-red night mode when required, but will not record any movement. It did originally when new (September 2018), but won't record anything now. It was installed outside. I've brought it inside to test, and it's behaving the same way inside.

Have you managed to find a solution to your problem? I've tried everything, and my system is up to date too.

Try removing the camera from Settings, My Devices and resync.

Thanks for your reply.

Have tried this numerous times; the camera will not sync with the base station now. This is the same camera that recently consumed a new set of batteries in a 24hr period while it had a fit activating continuously over that period!

Sounds like a hardware problem. Open a case:
