I have a kiindle and when loging into arlo.netgear.com, it assumes that I have a mobil device and say I need an app.  Problem is that there is no app for a kindle.

How can I get around this and use the browser for access?

Thanks

You can not... the Kindle is an android base system with a "shell" on it.  So it does work and thinks it's android.

At one time there was a Kindle app, but with the updates along the way it was dropped about 7 -9 months ago

I don't think you'll be able to use the Kindle as there is no flash , tho there are many other browsers you could try...let us know how you make out.

But looking for a solution to fool the browser into thinking that the kindle is not a mobile device.

The kindle silk browser if a chrome browser modified for the kindle.

This could be a netgear problem, because it identifies my kindle as a mobile device and only gives me the option of using an app, for which non exist for the kindle.

If possible, use the browser's settings to request the desktop version of the page. Chrome allows you to do this if you can install that.
